Financing Your Care

We take great pride in our dental work and focus on the best treatment for you. Many insurance plans place restrictions on the types of services they cover and place limits on your care. We focus on getting you the best possible care and at the same time we’ll help you maximize your insurance benefits.

In our office, we offer high quality care and payment options that work for all of our patients. Below you will find a list of insurance and payment plans that we accept. If you don’t see your preferred method on our list, please call our office at 480-806-1223 to find out how we can maximize your dental insurance benefits.

Dental Insurance Plans

We accept most insurance plans in an unrestricted way. That means, we are an out-of-network provider for most plans. We are a Delta Dental Premier provider and are in-network for Delta Dental. Being out-of-network has its advantages and disadvantages.

First and foremost, you are our priority, plain and simple. We are here to help you choose a dental treatment option regardless of your dental insurance plan.

For most preventive and emergency services there will be no difference between in-network and out-of-network benefits. Most insurance companies will cover 100% of preventive services and 80% of emergency services regardless of in-network or out-of-network.

Being out-of-network allows us to invest more in you and provide you with the highest quality dentistry.

We use excellent materials and excellent labs. Excellent labs cost more money (up to 5 times more). We use the same lab regardless of dental insurance. We do not use cheaper lab for in-network patients. We consider that a violation of our integrity. The truth is that yes, some procedures will cost you more money. Most insurance companies have annual maximums of between $1,000 and $2,500. For major procedures like crowns, you will spend a hundred or two hundred dollars more. That cost gets passed on to the lab.

We do not allow insurance companies to dictate treatment and we do not ask insurance companies permission to approve treatment. We will always pre-estimate and coordinate your insurance benefits prior to treatment. We are excellent at maximizing your benefits and minimizing your out of pocket costs. There are certain instances and procedures that you will have medical insurance benefits. This can further reduce your out of pocket costs.

Sometimes insurance company will not cover a procedure if the provider is in-network but they will cover it if the provider is out-of-network. It’s a weird quirk of insurance companies. For example, some in-network insurance companies will not cover dental implants or night guards but they will cover them using out-of-network benefits.

Please let us know if you have any specific questions or would like to schedule an appointment, 480-806-1223. Most of our patients have a variety of insurance plans. We are excellent at maximizing their benefits and we can help maximize yours as well.
